Looks like it was a battle of goaltenders this week as two of the three stars are goalies. First star is goalie, Semyon Varlamov, of the Colorado Avalanche, number two is Florida Panthers Center, Aleksander Barkov, and number three is Columbus Blue Jackets goalie, Sergei Brobovsky.

Varlamov takes the #1 spot by helping the Av's come within 1 point of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Varlamov's record this week was 3-0-0 with a 1.34 GAA and .964 SV%, including (1) 40 shot shutout against the Vegas Golden Knights. This marks his 21st shutout in an Avalanche jersey, second most in franchise history. Varlamov isn't loyal to one particular brand, so we can see him mix things up a bit. He wears the Bauer Profile 960XPM helmet, which is very popular amongst goalies for its armor like protection. For leg pads, blocker and glove, he's been sticking with CCM's Extreme Flex line, boasting the new unreleased Extreme Flex 4 equipment. You can sometimes see him using a Vaughn Velocity glove though. For stick, it's back to Bauer with the Supreme 2S Comp Goalie Stick for it's lightweight yet strong design. Semyon is also a Bauer skater with representing their Supreme 2S Pro goalie skates.

Barkov takes the #2 spot this week with posting 3 goals, 4 assists in 3 games. Four of those points came on the power-play to help his team notch two more in the win column and makes him only 4 goals away from beating his 2015-16 season of 28 goals scored. He has 12 games left to tally 15 points in order to beat his career high of 78 points which was done just last year. Taking a look at the Finland natives gear, it looks like he is a Bauer bro. Up top, his bucket is the Bauer 5100, which offers a great balance of performance and value. For gloves, it looks like he prefers the first generation of the Vapor 1X which is packed with elite foam technology, making it super protective yet extremely lightweight. He has been known to use the Bauer Nexus 2N stick, but it looks like he has recently switched over to the unreleased Warrior Alpha DX hockey stick. Down low, we switch back over to Bauer and see the Supreme 2S Pro hockey skates. The Supreme Skate line offers a standard volume fit with an anatomical design, so players can expect a close-to-the-foot fit and feel all throughout the boot.

Filling up this weeks third spot, Columbus Blue Jackets goalie, Sergei Bobrovsky. Even though the two-time Vezina Trophy winner opened the week with a 3-2 loss against the Montreal Canadiens, he really got the job done when he posted back to back shutouts on back to back nights. He is the first Columbus goaltender to accomplish this and his victories helped the Jackets remain third place in the Metro Division. His performances gave him a 2-1-0, 1.01 GAA, .963 SV%, 2SO to end the week. Bobrovsky wears a CCM Pro helmet and also uses CCM's unreleased Extreme Flex 4 leg pads, blocker, and catcher. His stick looks like a Warrior Custom Pro while his skates seem to be custom as well but by True.
