NIKITA KUCHEROV

Nikita Kucherov was on fire this week posting (2) four point performances in a row and tallying a total of 3 goals and 7 assists in only three games. He now has a 7 point lead on Patrick Kane for the Art Ross Trophy race, and only 4 points away from breaking 100 points this season. The guy is a beast and well deserves this weeks number one star. Kuch himself is a Bauer guy but likes to branch out within the Bauer family. For his bucket he rocks the Bauer RE-AKT helmet which provides elite level protection and comfort. The RE-AKT helmet also has incredible sizing adjustment so players can securely fit their helmet for optimal protection. He is wearing the Vapor 1X gloves, the previous generation to the 1X Lite. The 1X is a tapered fitting glove and offers great protection and feel for the stick. Speaking of stick, Kucherov snipes with the Supreme 2S Pro. The 2S Pro uses MPK (Maximum Power Kick) Technology, which helps generate more shot power than a traditional mid-kick point. You can really tell that Nikita gets maximum power in his shots thanks to the Supreme 2S Pro. Down low are the Bauer Nexus 2N skates, which offer players a high volume boot. The boot is constructed with Bauer's signature Curv Composite, which is incredibly light, protective, and heat moldable.

VLADIMIR TARASENKO

Our second star and second Russian to make this weeks list is St.Louis Blues, Vladimir Tarasenko, also posting 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) this week. He helped his team win 10 straight games and is now leading the NHL with 19 points in the month of February. It must have been hard not to make Jordan Binnington a star again this week when he posted 2 out of the three shutouts. Unlike Kucherov, Vladimir is a CCM guy. He uses the CCM FitLite FL80 helmet which features the second generation R.E.D System that improves protection against rotational impacts. For gloves, he can be seen wearing the traditional fitting CCM Tacks 4-Roll which offer great protection, mobility, and stick feel. Tarasenko enjoys using the CCM RibCor Reckoner hockey stick which is the second generation in the RibCor line. It has a deadly shot release thanks to the Pop Matrix shaft geometry. Down low he uses the Reebok RibCor Pump skates. The signature Pump was designed to help players increase heel lock while the Lace Lock feature allows players to individually customize the tightness of the upper and lower laces.

SIDNEY CROSBY

Posting 10 points (2 goals, 8 points) as well, Sidney Crosby is our third star of the week. Posting 1 goal and 2 assists vs their intrastate rival, Philadelphia Flyers, he now has 97 points in 65 career games against them. He also helped his team step their way into the first Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. Most of you probably know that Sid the Kid is the face of CCM. He wears the CCM FitLite FL80 helmet up top and uses CCM Pro Stock hockey gloves. His weapon of choice is the lightning quick release of the low-kick, CCM RibCor Reckoner as well. Finishing up down low, he skates in the CCM RibCor 70K's, which is the lightest, most responsive, and best fitting RibCor skate to date. CCM accomplished this by removing the Pump and Lace Lock feature while still maintaining a great anatomical fit with the new 3D-lasted, Dual Axle boot.
